The Kanbar Forum: one moment it’s an immersive concert hall, another it’s a nonresonant recording studio or a gothic cathedral. Thanks to its Meyer Sound Constellation acoustic system, one of the most advanced in the world, the Forum’s acoustic properties can change with the press of a button.
At the Science of Sound, enjoy a demonstration of the Forum’s capabilities and explore hands-on activities on auditory perception. Plus experience sound as never before with Soundscapes, our special programming series that invites artists to create audio experiments that embrace the potential of the theater’s Meyer Sound system.
Discover this amazing space and learn about the science of sound while mingling with other inquisitive individuals. Complimentary beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
