Creative Ways to Get Around

Exploratorium, Pier 15, Plaza
Free (Market Days is a free outdoor program. Ticket required for museum admission.)
All Ages

Explore innovative ways to propel yourself, whether you prefer pedals, paddles, or pulses of electricity. Browse art bikes, cargo bikes, and electric skateboards. Learn the basics of bike repair, try a wheelchair obstacle course, or take a motorized pony ride. Get a look inside a chicken foot to see how it functions. Make your own paper rocket with Explorables volunteers, and enjoy food to go from our own SeaGlass restaurant.

Market Days are free, open-air mini-festivals that bring together museum and community scientists, artists, and educators on third Saturdays from June to October. They feature curated art and science demos, hands-on activities, exhibits, and craft displays.
