Travel to the Edge of the Universe with Full Spectrum Science

Thursday, October 17, 2013, 7pm, and Sunday, October 20, 2013, 2pm

Join Exploratorium scientist Ron Hipschman for colorful explorations of the physical world. We tend to think of "home" as the building in which we live, or the town or city where we reside. Voyage to the edge of the known universe, and gain some perspective on the tiny planet we call home. See some of the amazing ways the universe is structured, and learn how it’s evolved. There is limited capacity for this program; seating will be made available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.

Full Spectrum Science, a dynamic monthly series, covers different aspects of physics, including sound, color, heat and temperature. Each hour-long presentation includes hands-on activities and demonstrations. Thursday evening presentations are for adults ages 18 and up only. Sunday daytime programs are for ages 6 years and older. All Full Spectrum Science presentations are included with admission to the Exploratorium.
