Back by popular demand—a group
for younger children! Get ready to be
playful, hands-on, and creative! We’ll
include a full complement of science experiments
and dissections, exploration experiences, and
art projects.
In Exploratorium Insiders, you’ll sing
in our sound column, construct toys for wind
experiments, and much more. This camp is great
preparation for kindergarten or first grade.

Be an Exploratorium Insider! This summer’s
big events are solar and
polar—we’re going to be preparing
for the solar eclipse by learning about the
solar system and experimenting with solar
power. And you’ll get to participate
in a live videoconference with the Arctic
Circle as a part of our polar year project.
We’ll also
have time for your favorite activities like
the egg drop and a visit to the Tactile Dome,
and you’ll have a chance to try brand-new
activities we’ve just developed!
There will be lots of activities to chose
from, including project building with friends,
science experiments, art projects, and group
games.

This camp will focus on the human body, with
investigations from our popular Human Body
Explorations book. We’ll have an emphasis
on investigation and thoughtful discussions
to get your mind going. It’s a big day,
every day!
In
addition to these exciting events, there will
be many activities to choose from, including
project building with friends, science experiments,
art projects, and group games. Every day at
camp includes structured activities and free
time outside.
